Connector Size for Sanwa(JLF+ OBSF-30) and standard buttons
« on: November 13, 2011, 06:28:37 am »
Hi,

From reading some posts, I found that the Sanwa buttons uses 2.8mm connectors and the standard buttons uses 6.3mm connectors.

In my setup, I will be having 2 X Sanwa JLF joysticks, 12 X Sanwa OBSF-30 buttons, and 2 X Standard white (1P and 2P start button)
I want to buy either minipac or ipac2 board with harness but find that they come in a variety of sizes. What is the best way I can do this?
1. Will the 6.3mm or 4.7mm fit on the Sanwa buttons? I know its bigger, but will it fit snug enough so it doesn't fall off through some button smashing session?
2. Should I buy a setup with 2.8mm from the UK(I am from Australia) and then buy new crimps for the 1P and 2P start standard buttons?
3. How do I connect the 5 wire JLF stick? Should I just buy crimp spades for them to connect them to the harness?
