Need some major help with my cab set up
« on: November 08, 2011, 03:04:12 pm »
So I have a MAME cab built running an X-Arcade controller to it. There is a coin door running from the X-Arcade and works fine as the 3 and 4 button. Here is my wonderfull problem:

The left stick is 2/4/6/8 and the right is r/d/f/g. Player One is 1 and Player Two is 2

The buttons on the left side are Ctrl/Alt/Space/Shift/Z/X/C/5  and the right side is A/S/Q/W/E/Upsidedown L to the right/Upsidedown L to the left/6

I had everything working 100% fine before we wired the coin door and now when I run it in mame is will not pick up the left joystick or the coin doors or all that jazz. However the 5 button adds a credit?

I have no clue what I am doing and need help haha. Do I need a Ctrl file or whatever? We did switch computers so maybe that had something to do with it? Ughhh this is a headache that is prob real easy to fix but this is my first MAME cab so I am still a noob at this. Thanks.

Looks like you have the 4 key defined as a coin in and also as a joystick direction.
