WTS: Wico NOS-8 way Joystick and UltraStik 360.
« on: November 03, 2011, 03:53:24 pm »
Well, now that my personal issues have been solved and settled for the better i can now sale again.

I have a barely used and rare Original Wico P360 id like to sale for $100 shipped or best offer.

I also have a Wico NOS-8 way stick id like to sale for $16 shipped.

Next i have an Ultrastik 360. Bought it mainly to review it.  Now I no longer have any plans nor use for it. Payed over 100 dollars for the stick and all its accessories but ill let it all go for $65 shipped.

thanks for looking.

wondering how that stick might be worth $50? its rare. those bring back memories. these were used in the arcades that dont exist anymore. mainly fighting games. while I moved on to Japanese sticks years ago I can still play on American.

believe it or not the Original Wico P360 sticks are in fact valued at 80 - 100 dollars. So the lowest ill go is $80. Unless you have multiple items to trade that equal that value.
There is a guy on the SRK forums thats selling his for $125 shipped. Don't believe me go see for yourself. You have to have an account over there tho.

FTFY.

Sounds like those CL ads that say "they're selling on ebay" for an ungodly amount, when they've just been sitting there listed with nobody buying.

I have a question about the Wico 360 and the preference that folks seem to have for them. IIRC, they are a Wico 8-way leaf stick with the 360 adaptor.

I don't recall fighter fans ever liking the performance of the grommet (although old folks like me love the feel!) and would expect them to prefer the Suzo/Happ version of this stick.

Cheffo, I'm going to add a slight wrinkle to your question.  The Original Wico 360 joystick is similar to the one Happ sells today.  What is pictured above is actually the Perfect 360 add on kit for a Wico leafstick.  They also sold the add on kits to fit Supers and other joysticks.

So, even though it was mentioned that fighter fans prefer the Wico 360.  Which one are they really talking about?

I've already sold 2 Wico P360s on SRK for 100 each so its no skin off my nose if no one buys it here really. Im really thinking about just keeping it anyway and make something of it. I've already made more than enough I need from the other two i sold to make that happen quickly.

FTFY.

Hey, Its not my fault the value of the stick is raised so high. If the recession is hitting you that hard i suggest you save your money and let those that can afford such goods be the first in line.

FWIW, I don't think the price is out of line ... I'm just curious why a fighter guy like SNAACK would want one of the Wico kits, and then put a bat top on it when you can get a new Suzo/Happ stick with a bat top for less cash.

I totally get why folks like me would want a stick like this, although I am one of those folks who thinks that you should never play Robotron with anything other than Wico leafs with 4" shafts (and doesn't think that paying $50 for just the shafts is unreasonable).

Because the new happ sticks are not as good as the older ones, So everyone says. They say that the new happs have problems with diagonals, Pivots cracking / uneven, switches not registering, the list goes on and on. The Original Wico p360s are claimed by majority as being the "Perfect Arcade Joystick" to own. That plus due to the fact that they are discontinued and quantities are extremely low is why they are priced so high because they're JUST that good. Also, they have battops that fit these sticks but they're extremely rare as well. Unless you buy a Brand New Happ P360, those battops are compatible with the wico p360s, otherwise, good luck hunting for one.

Thanks for the detailed response, although I'm going to choose to disagree with you on the "claimed by majority" comment ... there are enough opinions about the "perfect" arcade stick to fill a wiki.  ;)

I believe a Happ Ultimate bat-top will work with any P360 unit.  Depending on your CP thickness, you may need to use one of the metal spacers.  Don't take that as gospel though.

FWIW, I purchased a NOS WICO P360 from a KLOV'er for $32 shipped and scored a conversion w/wico ball-top unit off fleabay for less.....all in the last month.

Removed Wico P360 from the list, decided to keep it.

Added U360 instead.
