I've been playing around with getting a good soundset going for my Mala theme and one thing that I've noticed.
Most of the sounds seem to be "asynchronous" meaning they play, but things "keep going" in mala.
However, the "StartGame", "EndGame" and "Exit Mala" sounds seem to play synchronously (ie mala plays the sound, and doesn't do anything else till the sound completely finished playing.
I guess what I was expecting is for the sound to get buffered and started and then be mixed with whatever ends up playing after the event.
This is particularly noticeable with longer sounds (say, 5-7 seconds). Most of the very short menu navigation "click" sounds, you'd never notice it anyway.
I guess my question is is that intentional or is that just the way it works and you can't really do much about it?
I know from my own apps when I've played sounds, it was just a setting whether to play the sound synchronously or asynch.
Any ideas?
