I had never come across this problem before as I had been planning on building my own cabinet, but now that I have found a fully working cabinet for a good price, I am not sure how this would be done. I think the control panel on the cabinet will look like this.
http://candescence.org/2010/04/If I wanted to replace that with a 4-player control panel, the control panel would be wider and come out further from the screen. Would the control panel just be latched to the inside? It seems to me that there would have to be some more support to handle the weight of the control panel so that it doesn't just fall off the cabinet.
Also, I had never looked into using a coin door, until now because the machine will already have one. If I wanted to have the coin door set up, plus have 4-U360's with 7 buttons each and a start button for each player, would an Ipac4 have enough inputs? before, I had just been planning on having the U360's connected ia USB and not worry about a control interface. Or, would it be possible to have the coin door set up to where I could press the button as an administrator button and not worry about using an interface? (Hook the coin door button up to one of the U360's 8 button wires?)
Thanks for all the help you guys have given me! I am close to getting this project really moving!
