Help wanted: Where to mount apache push/pull spinner
« on: October 25, 2011, 12:59:51 am »
K this thing is 3"x3x3 and im a little short on space.  Here is a pic of the front of my cab with white circles drawn where it might go.  If you cant see, there is one just above player 1 joystick and would be mounted on the monitor bezel.  The one on my desk would be me making a cp for it and it just sitting there.  The cirle over by button 6 on player 2 side would be if i take that button out and mount it under there (last choice)  The one on the very left would be me making a cp and mounting it somehow to the side.  And of course the one in front with the knob sticking out towards me in the middle.  There is no room anywhere else, trust me :(  Any help is appreciated. :notworthy:

Why don't you put it where the coin button is and put the coin button on the front of the cab.

Can't go there :(  there is a button beside the coin button.  If I moved those 2 buttons how would I fill the gap?

EDIT: Not enough room there even if i moved those buttons :(  I wonder if i can extend that shaft longer ???

Realistically, I just don't think you have the space for it. Good excuse to build a new machine!

im also getting a gently used wico trackball.  I was thinking, couldn't i make a separate control panel for those with a few buttons and plug it in when i want to play those games?
