Sort search by date

Am I missing something about the Search function on the forum?

I'm keen to pull up the most *recent* posts in say... the last 100 days. So I pop in my key words, restrict the number of days and.... the posts seem to come up in random order on the dates.

Not a big deal if it's only say... one or two pages. But if you dredge up six pages, kind of a hassle to shuffle through them to find that one post.

Am I missing the option somewhere to sort by ascending or descending order by date? Or is that not even an option?

No, sort's never been a strong point Hoping the new version when we upgrade fixes that.

That sucks. Seems like search management is a weak feature of a lot of forum software. Could be worse though, Gamespy's old forum sucked so bad that I ended up writing a proxy that would reparse parts of the forum and repair a ton of broken functionality. All of that before GreaseMonkey was introduced.

 Almost had it done when all Hell broke lose, oh well.
