I-Pac/45-degree angle joystick remapping question
« on: October 15, 2011, 09:47:04 pm »
Was wondering if it is possible in MAME to remap a an 8-way joystick (connected via I-Pac) that is installed on a 45 degree angle (outer edge player setup) to act as if it was not on an angle? Problem is MAME generically only accepts up, down, left and right program input and combines these keys when stick is pointed in a 45 degree direction.

I cant see why not.  You can map up/down/left/right to anything/combination you want.  It will show up as a combination keypress.
