I was trying to think of a stand-out lead character and couldn't come up with one. i didn't think that hard. What am I forgetting? This is for an art mosaic thing for my son.
Thanks in advance

Ratchet & Clank, those games were awesome and about as close as the PS2 got to a mascot.
or...

There really isn't one. Maybe any of these?
Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2
Tidus from FFX

I like Ratchet & Clank and Crash Bandicoot.
Edited because one of my selections was PS1.

Liking Tidus, lots of scope for a funky background to the mosaic there too. Forgot FF stuff and it's all I play on PS2.

If you are going with FFX, you would probably want to go with Auron, not Tidus.
I've never played other games, but I thought the MGS guys or Devil May Cry probably appeals to a bigger crowd. If your boy does like the FFs, then Auron is your dude.
