Rowe AMI 100 A
« on: September 29, 2011, 09:43:13 am »
I have a 100A with 100B brain.

Juke works great.

The other day it was playin a bunch of songs and when finished I walked up to play more and the song read-out window / led display was out.  Could anyone help me in determining the issue.  All connectors looked and felt fine.  Is it the display that just pooped out or could it be an output or fuse or what?

Thanks for your input!

Hi Scott,

Check all the fuses and breakers on the power supply, but your problem could be just dry joints (called cold joints in the USA) on the connection pins on the boards.

I normally start with the power supply PCB and then work through all the other boards.

Thank you for your suggestions!  It will be where I start!  I will update with my findings.

I have 28 and 5 vdc making it to the board.  The led on the board is dim.  I guess its a display board issue..  will continue on trouble shooting ...
