I am eagerly awaiting any new postings at Stuzza's site for more console skins--Cave posted a preview of the SMS skins and it looked great.  Would love to have a complete set of these console skins for my console emulators.  They are extremely well done.  Just wondering if I can expect a few more sometime soon.
Thanks.

I second that.

I am hoping for some Stuzza quality Daphne / Colecovision skins!   ;D

Thanks,

I hadn't actually planned on doing anymore as I have covered all the systems I use in my own cab  :P  I have never used Colecovision or Daphne and so am not as familiar with the main game characters and other artwork etc... which I would need for the graphics.  However, if someone wants to contact me and provide me with some graphics, or links to pages with them, I'd be happy to have a go at doing a few more skins in the similar style to my other ones.

I think CAVE is still working on completing other console skins for his latest collection - which I think look great!  Although I'm still waiting for a high res 1024x768 version..?  ;D

Cave-

Awesome layouts!  Can't wait to get my hands on those.

If you were to create 2 more, I'd put my votes in for Gameboy & Gameboy Advance.

Keep up the fantastic work!

Cave,

Fantastic work as always!!  I cant wait for them to be available for download at Stuzza's site.  Just a couple of comments.
>Are the box arts that you use in the layouts available for download somewhere?  It would be great if the box arts for the included systems would be available at Stuzza's site along with the layouts that use them?  Or otherwise, just if there was a place to get the box arts to use with the layouts as they look great with the layouts.
>If I had to vote for two more systems, I would vote for Intellivision and Colecovision.  There are currently no layouts available anywhere (that I know of) for these classic systems.  The atari layout looks awesome, so I would really like to see what these classic system layouts would be like and could really use them in my setup.
Of course, I would like to see the Gameboy(s) layouts as well.
> Just a suggestion, how about finishing the current set of six with the Intellivision and Colecovision, and then creating a handheld set to include the Gameboy machines, Gamegear, Atari Lynx, and Neo Geo Pocket, etc.  Perhaps easier said then done, and I dont want to seem greedy, but these layouts are very nice and would like to see as many as possible before you go on to other projects.  Just a suggestion, but I am sure there would be alot of happy people out there if you decided to further expand the skin series.
Thanks and look forward to the other skins real soon.

Cave,

Great work!!! I would vote for intellivision/colecovision for the last two but would love to see a Daphne related skin as well even though it is not console based.

Well...  perhaps i will do more than two more :), as for the box art and stuff there doesn't seem to be any places that has large packs for box scans etc.. I've found a few places that have lots of individual pictures but you have to click and save each one and it gets a pain when theres like 400 or so, It would be nice if there was a group effort to collect all the box art and have it at say stuzzas site, but then theres the renaming to goodtools format also  :-\.

At the moment i'm just grabbing the odd one or two for the sake of the skins to see what they could look like.

I agree with Cave.  Since I have no artistic ability and have been leaching off of Cave and Stuzza, this sounds like something I can do to give back.

I have actually started an Atari 2600 screenshot project.  My 2600 romset currently includes 1617 roms.  I've started at the top and have started collecting screenshots and renaming then in goodtools format.  I've done #'s - A's and have them available for anyone who wants them.  100 down and 1517 to go!  I start the B's tonight!

Anyone wanna help?

I have 818 Genesis Box Scans and 979 Genesis Cart fronts that I downloaded from a www.grandefamily.net/Genesisszs/ .  I'd be happy to rename them to goodtools names and make them available for front end use.  Give me a few weeks and I'll see what I can do (if anyone wants to download these and help me rename them, then PM me  :) ).  I'm sure other people would have some other sega and nintendo box and cart scans?

To kick things off, here are 38 out of the 50 (USA set) Sega 32X box scans:  http://members.lycos.co.uk/stuzza12/scans.htm

If anyone has the missing ones, please contact me.

Cave,

Great work with the skins--look forward to the next ones.  Just wondering, with the first set of skins, the hardware specs of each system were included in the skin.  I liked the idea of having those specs available and be able to compare the various systems.  With the second set, those specs not included on the skin.  Is it possible to have the specs included in the second set somehow--just so that they match and I do kindof like having the specs there.  Not sure if there is room on some skins, but it is a nice feature.  If not, thats fine.  I will still continue to really enjoy the skins and cant wait for the next ones to be available. --Intellivision and Colecovision would sure be nice, along with the handheld systems.
Thanks Cave. Keep up the good work.  We all appreciate it.

I just ran out of room on the later skins and the text didn't resize too well either so just started leaving them out.

Here's a pic of the requested skins, i'll post these to stuzza so he can put them up. I don't have any roms or emulators for these systems hence the black empty boxes.

Cave,

Awesome Work!!  Cant wait for them to be available at Stuzza's site.  Now the only ones left that I have roms for, but not one of your skins, are the following:  Sega Game Gear, Sega CD, Sega 32X, Neo Geo Pocket, and Atari Lynx.  If these could be made as well, it would be great!!  Your work is top notch and I would like to have a complete set of your skins for all my systems.  I think the above would complete it, except for the Atari 5200 and 7800.  Those would be cool as well.
Your work is truly appreciated--thanks for the skins so far and hopefully a few more in the near future :)
