xbox360/Mame cabinet playing a pinball games
« on: September 12, 2011, 07:52:16 pm »
okay so I'm planning out my cab. it will house a pc and an xbox360. planning to hack a wired xbox360 pad.
I love pinball fx 2 and pinball hall of fame: Williams collection. would love to play em on the cab.  So I got questions on my objective.

1. is it possible to double the functionality of the triggers. (player 1's triggers both left and right will be placed on top and on the sides accordingly) this way when I play xbox360 pinball titles I can use the sides and for other games revert to the top. I assume this is achieved by running sets of wires (and resistors apparently) independently from the board to the buttons.

2. the triggers use a pentameter (sp?) which I understand records your press and sends back a value when released. Is there a button that mimics this or one with a pentameter? or does it matter?
