Hello again,
Been working with Mala and mame for a bit and I'm having issues with a few roms crashing on startup.
I'm not sure if this is a MAME or MALA issue.

How would I get to see the log files of why a game crashed when loading?
I assume it could save the output of what files are missing or what so I know how to correct certain roms.

Thanks for any help!

Most likely a MAME issue. My only suggestion is that I've had issues with roms crashing and it going back to the front end when I haven't had a rom's "parent" rom installed (i.e, Puckman for Pac-man, Tapper for Root Beer Tapper). MAWS (http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/ is a good place to find out parent/child rom relationships. May not be your issue, but it was something I was running into a while back, so maybe worth mentioning.

Not sure about crash log.

Mala.exe.log will show you Mala info but it dosent show missing roms. Not sure if mame has something similar. One way to check the missing files is to use clrmamepro. Google it for the files and tutorial. Also rum mame at a dos prompt and will show missing roms
