No screensaver in MAME? Or even a blank screen?

So I can't figure out a way to have a screen saver when a game runs for a while. I would prefer the screen just to go blank. Any idea about that?

Are you using a front end to launch your games? This can be done with the front end MALA (the one I use) and probably others. MAME Is more about just emulating the arcade hardware.

In arcade games screen never go just blank because it need to advertise himself. No blank screen needs.

You exit to the front end when you're done with a game.
