Swapping U360's around in control panel
« on: August 16, 2011, 02:12:54 pm »
I did a quick search but couldn't find anything.

Somehow I've managed to get it so that my player 1 joystick is recognised as player 2 in Control Panel and vice versa.

This wouldn't normally be a problem (obviously configuring joysticks/buttons in Mame etc) but in Windows games it's a little annoying that it chooses the second joystick by default and I'd rather have it as normal.

I've tried unplugging them both, but when plugged back in they are just recognised the same as before.

I've uninstalled Ultramap but I don't think it would be anything to do with that anyway?

You can change the id's using ultramap.  Just change 2 to 1 and vice versa.

Yup I did think this and tried it - but it just kept crashing.  I've re-installed Ultramap and it has worked now, thanks :)
