For UK and Europe, this is something we'll be doing early next year, but gotta find time to put together the prototype first.

If I haven't got round to building one myself by then, I'd deffo be up for buying a kit if you were planning on doing those.

Maybe even a mini kit as well?  Just a thought.

We're thinking about full-size widebody models, mini-tables, a specific Bar-Top variant with some other additions, and nothing concrete yet, but yothere may be something special in terms of a collaborative effort with another build team. Whatever we work out, we'll be looking at offering them in the same kind of build levels as our current models: kit, shell and full machine.

Do you put a pane of glass over the top, or is it just the TV screen?

I've always wondered about that- people might set things on top if no one is playing.
WANTED: Somebody to go back in time with me. This is not a joke. P.O. Box 322, Oakview, CA 93022. You'll get paid after we get back. Must bring your own weapons. Safety not guaranteed. I have only done this once before.

I wonder how the dot matrix is handled in those? Serial maybe?

Since the backglass monitor is widescreen, I would turn it vertical to do it in software. Then the backglass images could be square again, too.

Some add genuine top glass, though I suppose it could also be done with acrylic, though it'd need to be fairly thick and probably cost the same as glass.

With regards to the backglass rea, some do it with a vertically-mounted wdescreen and just set up windows in the correct location for the artwork and dot matrix display, whilst others use a dual graphics card setup with 3 monitors (usually 46" WS playfield, 28 or 32" WS backglass and 15" 4:3 dot matrix).
