POSSIBLE BAD SELLER!!!

I don't want to flame him yet so I won't use his screen name, but I bought two dc controllers wired up so I could use them on my cab. I gave him the money and he said it was done. That was about a month ago. Up until then emails were replied to and he wanted to apologize because he was moving at the time.  Fast forward to now. I haven't been able to get a hold of him and my stuff hasn't arrived. How long should I wait before I retract my cc payement and flame him on the boards?

Hey, I know someone who moved recently and loves the DC!  

But seriously, if it's who I think it is I don't think they are really a *bad* person, more likely they were distracted...you know- selling his cab, moving, a piece of fluff floating through the air...

but I digress, I'm sure your post will remind the person to get in touch with you..nobody want to be accused of being a bad seller in public.. :-)

If it is the same person, I too would agree. I have had some bad transactions with people lately, (which is totally not the norm!) So I'm  a bit angy and frustrated.

Anyway, I think a month is just about at the point where I would think about taking more serious action. Try to contact this person one more time, and if they can't give you a concrete answer, I would do everything I could to resolve it, such as retract your payment like you mentioned. Good luck.

However it was dealing with some controls for a DC and not a modchip. I recieved them today. No reasons to why it took so long, but the controls look wired correctly. Unfortunatly I can't test them till I finish my cab. This time the seller turned out to be innocent but there are still crooks out there. And I'll be watching....
