Berzerk complete boardset with pwr supply and transformer FS
« on: August 12, 2011, 12:14:32 am »
Complete Berzerk boardset. Everything's still on the drawer including the power transformer. Was freshly repaired when put into storage some years ago.  Will include a Frenzy cpu board (untested) for possible conversion to that game (the rest of the boards are common to both games IIRC).

$150 takes it. Located in Mi.

I would be interested in just the Frenzy zpu.

Thanks,
Tony

Lemme dig it out and see what condition its in. I remember that came from a bulk board buy around 12 years ago and it still had the battery on it (that I promptly ripped off). I do remember cleaning and neutralizing the area of the board that showed signs of battery gassing, but that stuff can come back even after you clean it. I never bothered to go any further with it since I converted the set to Berzerk and wasn't interested in Frenzy at the time.

Funny....I never even played the Berzerk set. I was in the middle of repairing 30-40 boards and when I got this one to come up on a monitor and it coined and the sounds/voice worked, I set it aside and continued working thru the stacks of unknown boards.

Just a note here.....I did find a bunch of other Stern 1000 series boards (sound, voice, bullsh!t color, etc) that I'll toss in with the sale of the full set.

Well I'll be dipped.....I just went to find it and its not in my (numerous) containers of boards. Maybe I missed a box or 2 when I was moving all this stuff recently. Either that, or I tossed it in the parts boards box which I know is still in storage. Stay tuned.....

Will you ship to Washingon State?  If so, how much?

I could do that as long as you don't want the wooden drawer. It can be all pulled off and boxed up. I'd prolly use 2 seperate boxes do the pwr transformer doesn't wreck anything.....its heavy.
