Northcoast Custom Arcades
« on: August 01, 2011, 12:50:18 pm »
Trying to get a hold of them before I place an order.  Tried calling but no answer and emailed.  I've ordered from Scott in the past from Mameroom.  I'm assuming it's the same person.  Has anyone ordered from them lately.

I ordered a UAII cab from them earlier in the year.  4 boxes shipped, only 1 got delivered.  Was Fedex's problem not theirs.  After some back and forth where they verified I wasn't trying to take advantage of them, they resent 3 boxes and I got asap.  Fedex delivered 3 of the 4 original boxes to a different house and was unable to track them down.

Few e-mails back and forth (with Gary?) and he was helpful and professional.  No complaints, happy with unit!

I talked to Gerry.  Scott is a bit more difficult to get ahold of initially.

I love my custom cocktail arcade cabinet.  They did a nice job.

I just received a kit from them last week, everything delivered just fine, however they have not responded to my last email from the last 2 days, last week I got a response pretty quick?

Thanks guys.  I just thought it was weird no answering machine when I called.  I'll wait to hear back from them.

I called NorthCoast months ago to get Scott to build a custom CP. He was really hard to get hold of.

It took a few weeks of calling NC to finally get him on the phone. During the conversation, he told me he didn't do custom jobs anymore. It was a real waste of time.

Scott has had a lot of issues getting custom work done on time, so its probably best in order to keep custom satisfaction up.  Too bad though.  I just received my custom cabinet from them a month ago and it did indeed take several months to complete.  'Worth it to me though because I would have never had the time, skill nor access to a CNC machine.

I spoke with them a week or two ago,  they actually did mention what's going on with custom work as I was inquiring about a custom job,  and it was something out of their control.  I believe they're working on resolving it though.

I'd say it's worth trying to get ahold of them and see how things are going.

I ordered a custom panel and dealt with Gerry the whole time. Great communication and I received my order fairly quickly. I'd definitely recommend them

I was in talks with them to do a custom panel with Gary, and like everyone else said, he was a pleasure to talk to. The only bummer was the price, it was WAY too expensive so the whole thing was scrapped.
Pictures are overrated anyway.
