Multi Layered Coin Door Help
« on: July 31, 2011, 07:44:11 am »
Hey guys, my last step of finsihing my mame cab is the door. We have a guy here in Australia who does flat pack, which suits me cause my woodworking skills suk. Anyway, he did this nice looking coin door for me. Poker theme. Now i just need to work out the best way to ensure it looks like it is supposed to (Photo 2).

I attached photos so you can see the "layers" involved. How is the best way to fix this. Should i just use plexi, screw it in from behind and then glue all the pieces down on to the plexi? Is this the best method? Any ideas please guys.

looks great.  i'd probably lay it all down, face down and get everything positioned properly, put glue on the back of the wood, then put the plexi on with something heavy on it until the glue sets
