Star Castle Side art.
« on: July 18, 2011, 06:00:17 am »
I was reading a thread about Star Castle and the lack of Side art.  About 10 years ago, I ran across someone who said they were going to make copies of  Star Castle side art. So I gave him a One of my NOS Star castle Side art.  That guy disappeared never to be heard from again.  I will not make that mistake again. There a person who working off of scans to make star castle side art but I was told he is slow and very busy( I did send him an email but I haven heard from him).  I was told that not only does art work need to be scanned it has to be vectorized and silk screen printed.

I know what i have is a little piece of history and I would like to see this art work reproduced but frankly It's hard for me to tell is truthful and who is just talks a good game. The typical sell me your art work and I would kind of Story.   I would hate to see NOS art work just get slapped on a game and the promise to reproduce it forgoten.

I really don't want to take on the task of reproducing side art but frankly I don't know anyone or anybody I trust to get the job done and to see nicely reproduced side art reach fellow collectors.

Rich @ ThisOldGame.com was given scans about a year ago... Rich turned them over to Jeff Rothe @ rotheblog.com... Jeff started his new job and has kept him very busy so he offered to give the files back to Rich (with his vector work) and Rich had Jeff send them directly to me.

I just finished Ice Cold Beer side art w/ Rich... The Ice Cold Beer CPO has been vectorized and just waiting in the queue to be screened... Just completed the Nintendo Offset Molding production...

NOW, I can focus on Star Castle... I'd really love to have a one piece scan if at all possible so if you have one piece of art I'd love to get a hold of a scan of the art or if you would "loan" it to me I'd scan it immediately and ship it right back (I know that might not happen seeing the other guy vanished and I understand so let me know if I can send you a deposit in order to make that happen).

If that can't happen I plan on driving 3 hours round trip in order to get high quality scans of the "missing" pieces of the tied art.

Please shoot me an e-mail @ audiomidiman AT gmail DOT com !!! Expect this to be started and completed by the end of the year !!!

Thanks.
