Virua Squad/Cop Crosshairs disappear when running Troubleshooter

I have the PC version of Virtua Squad/Virtua Cop running on my PC.  I am trying to play 2 player with my Aimtrak guns.  I ran the Troubleshooter program and it is working however when I run this program, I can't see the crosshairs as I'm aiming. It works fairly well without them but there are times where the aim is off and I would just prefer to play with them on.  In the troubleshooter program, there is an option to hide the gun sight. If you check this, you don't see the crosshairs at all. If you uncheck it you ONLY see them when you take a shot.  Is there a way to have the crosshairs stay on the screen at all times while running this program?  When I disable the troubleshooter the crosshairs work fine with the mouse and keyboard. I am using Windows 7 64 bit.
