I'm thinking... we don't have a huge problem with spammers on the forum, but when we do, they go hard!!

maybe we can implement new accounts having to enter a captcha or something in order to post to the forum for their first 50 posts or implement a timeout period between posts , where if violated say 3 times in the space of an hour it locks the account from posting for an hour (or more).

10 posts maybe, but I hate captchas and if I had to do one for 50 posts I wouldn't stick around long enough to hit 50 posts. Lets put it on chad and xouches account, and see if it works.

All for this for new accounts. There is nothing so important for a new user that he/she NEEDS to post more than once an hour.

Guess there's nothing so important that I NEED to post more than once an hour either... Man, I need to get off the ---smurfing--- internet.
