X-Arcade BYO Kit USB trouble
« on: June 21, 2011, 10:03:17 am »
Hello,

we bought an x-arcade BYO kit last week for our company's arcade cabinet.

We hooked everything up and it worked for about 10 reboots in PS2 mode, USB always gave the "usb not recongnized" error on windows XP.  We tried multiple portables and machines and they all gave the USB nog recognized error.

X-arcade support sent us a new cable, but that didn't help.

When booting in PS2, the mode switch disables and enables the led without problems, the mode selector is always in mode 1.
When booting in USB, the led stays red and the mode button doesn't help, led stays red.

any help or experience?  Do we need a new circuit board?

tnx

Obviously Xgaming would know best, stick with the direct support for a resolution.

Well, to be honest, I ordered an Ipac and it arrived today, everythings working fine, I'll have X-Arcade replace the faulty PCB, then we  can start a second cabinet, their support has been great up to now.

problem solved, we needed the cabinet running for our company BBQ no friday, so the Ipac saves the day.
