What comes with the U360's these days?
« on: June 21, 2011, 08:48:20 am »
Hey guys, I've been out of the loop for about a year so I'm wondering...  I bought the U360s when they first came out, and back then to make them usable you had to add the optional hard springs and round restrictors.   I remember everyone had said that's what the U360s should have shipped with as stock parts since the default throw was not desirable for most games, and the spring that came with it was too soft.

Is it still this same way, where I need to order the extra parts, or has anything changed?

Times haven't changed. I really like the stiffer spring. You might be able to find a replacement at the local hardware store, though you'd have to compare with the stock spring.

The round restrictor can be found at Lizard Lick Amusements. An octagonal restrictor can be found here for a little less than Ultimarc's. (I like both the circular and octagonal restrictors; I haven't tried the linked octagonal one.)
