Custom Case with Independent Game ?
« on: June 18, 2011, 10:08:11 am »
Hey guys, brand new here. Me and my friend are planning to build a case from the ground up, but also design our own video game for it.

How would this differ from a generic MAME project ? Are there any examples around here of somebody doing the same ?

Thanks !

Doesn't seem like it'd differ at all unless your game uses some kind of weird controls. The project that immediately came to mind was the one someone did where they created a Last Starfighter game with a cabinet styled like the one in the movie.

Think their username was RogueSynapse or something like that, but not sure.

Edit for grammar...  :dizzy:

What kind of game are you designing?
How many players?
Monitor orientation?
Controls per player?
etc..

With some basic information I'm sure there will be lots of great suggestions!

Good luck
