Questions about a StarWars Cab
« on: May 31, 2011, 07:35:57 pm »
Hi gang,

I've got a chance to get my hands on a gutted star wars (stand-up) cab for about 80$ - it's missing the CP (not surprisingly).

Is it worth it?  Can I convert it to something else (other than MAME) reasonably?

Be seeing you,

WonderAlex

Does it have a bezel?

Really depends on the condition and just how gutted it really is... I have been looking for a nice gutted Star Wars cab for quite a while.

Agreed.  If in good condition its worth it.  If the side art is there, its well worth it.  (many of the other bezel pieces can be found on ebay).

In good condition, you could make a profit, despite it not having the control panel...if your in the right location.

On the other hand, if its just the a box with with questionable side art (no monitor, marquee, coin door, bezel) then its just a box that used to be a star wars cabinet.

A gutted game would absolutely not have the monitor.  Zero chance.
