IPAC help
« on: May 29, 2011, 02:17:31 am »
Ok so I am just about to put everything together. I go and give my system one last check and everything works except for button 5 and 6 during a game. I downloaded the IPAC button utility and ALL the buttons work on that even 5 and 6. I tried switching the mapping and then none of the buttons worked in game I am assuming this has something to do with the mapping in MAME but I can't find where to change that. Anyone know what my problem is??

If the keys are working outside of mame then they are just not configured properly within mame. Start up a game, hit the "tab" key and go to input general. If by button 5 and 6 you mean the coin/ credit buttons then go into other controls> scroll down to credit 1 and hit enter then assign button 5 and same for 6. If you mean player button 5 and 6 then go into player one controls and set them in there.
