Best games for the armageddon
« on: May 20, 2011, 12:49:08 pm »
So the end of the world is tomorrow, what should I be playing tonight on my cab that will give me the skills necessary to survive the apocalypse?

Arcade games only please.

I am thinking x-men, because apovalypse is in it....anything else?

Ready... go!

The ONLY game I'll be playing in the moments leading to the apocalypse is Hide the Chorizo. :laugh2:

Well, I personally think I'll play the Real Ghostbusters. Those guys saved us from the Apocalypse a number of times now.

Armageddon doesn't happen until October, so you really should be playing

T2: Judgement day

Pac Man.  Because not letting the ghosts get you, seems like a good analog ;).

Damn it. Beat me to it. I was going to say that!

I would also be playing a different version of Hide the Chorizo with a speed hack, Hide der Bratwurst.  :lol
Pictures are overrated anyway.

How about ghost & goblins, that popped into my head for some reason. For some reason the pac man reference made think of the movie ghost when the shadow guys come out lol

Those shadows guys scared the bejeebus out of me.
They pop out and are all like, "UhhhhHHHHHHHHHHHH!"
Harrowing.

I hope the end is NOTHING like Ghosts & Goblins. Not anybody will make it if it is. I'm stockpiling my heart shaped underoos just in case.

What time is it supposed to happen?

I'm not sure if I want to get up before 10 tomorrow, even if it is to play one last round of Tempest.

That's interesting. I woke up this morning (it is now eight something AM) and my wife is gone. So it looks like the kids and I were left behind.

I get why I was left behind but the kids? And my wife?!

Oh well, guess I might as well go and loot some houses.

Wait... where the hell are the Zombies?! If I was going to get left behind, I was really looking forward to "killing" a few Zombies... And my Aliens?! Damn it!

Perhaps we're all dead?

I think May 21st stands to show that the crazies are still out there. Be careful people!

Hmm  - happens to be my birthday.  Well sucks to be me I guess. ;)

I'd fire up Diablo personally - but a classic arcade game? Hmm - Missile Command or Defender.

Be seeing you,
