Scoreboards
« on: May 20, 2011, 12:13:12 pm »
So I want to make/ buy something to keep scores on so that one people come over we can aim to be the best  :burgerking:

I saw someone on here has a great plastic push in letter board, and I was planning on perhaps a chalkboard, but what do people on here use?

Anyone have anything fancy, even if it's just a chalkboard, show it off and give us a picture!  ;D
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy...

I saw a great edge lit plexi one on here, do a search for it.  It was neat

I don't have one, but I want to get a soda or beer letterboard for high scores someday.

Me too. Although I could probably build something backlit and fancy, an old-school "Enjoy Pepsi" letterboard with the push-in letters would be my first choice.

I had to make something like a scoreboard for work. I just took a dry erase whiteboard and taped on a grid using striping tape. Basic, but effective.

I was planning one doing a home version of this at some point. I was going to print out a picture of the marquee, laminate it and velcro it in the grid like this:

How long did it take you to draw up that mock-scoreboard?

10 minutes in excel. I'm just chillin' at work before leaving for the weekend. I don't take a lunch ever, so I compensate by spending too much time on the internet.  :lol
