Lost my registration key
« on: May 11, 2011, 09:00:00 am »
Hey everyone,

My MAME computer recenty crashed and I had to wipe and reload everything.. In doing this I didn't think about my registration key for Maximus... I thought I had it in my email still but it looks like possibly my wife may have gotten rid of it...

I sent an email asking if they could recover my registration code for me on the Maximus Arcade contact page but have not heard back.. Kinda at a loss... I only have 24 days left on the trial...

Any ideas on what I can do? Am I going to be stuck buying another copy?
Thanks,
Mike

Wow, I didn't realize that this mameseer guy was such a POS... I will definately not be paying for another code, especially now  ;)... I'd like to find out the info that was found out in the linked post..

I don't like being left hanging as a consumer with no support... Especially since alot of us use his software, customize it, take videos and post them up for everyone else to see... In doing this we are giving him free advertising which results in him getting more $ales.... This is how I found out about Maximus and led me down the road to purchasing it as well...

I've got a couple of people that I work with that are into MAME as well.. One is going to redo his cab and wants to use Maximus after he saw how it looks in my cab.. I'm going to insist that he doesn't and have him look at Hyperspin or something else.. I'm not working for free for mameseer anymore...

I'm going to update my youtube vid as well to tell people that Maximus is no longer being supported by it's developer and that they are at their own risk if they pay for a registration key that they may not get...

Thanks,
Mike

The only reason to use Maximus is if you're doing a mirror cab on Win7 and need 64bit support (no other flippable FE exists in that environment at this time - Atomic doesn't work).  Otherwise, it's just not worth it.

To all that purchased a key from MA site and have received nothing in return...

Try looking up mameseer under:

linkedin.com

Search for Maximusarcade.com and you should fine this SOB.

He works for a graphics company now.

I'm sure he's barely making the bills now that the economy is ---steaming pile of meadow muffin--- and guys like him are a dime a dozen.

Greetings From The Lord Humongous!
