having issues with game scraping

hi - I have an arcade cab running mame and i am using mala feeding off mameuifx. I had a huge pile of roms, but male had issues saying roms existed, but then when you try and run it it says that it is missing the files (this is with them scraped for working and with rom present).

I cut down to 50 chosen ones. Now within mameuifx it finds a list, and mala finds a list and there are still ones that arent showing in mameuifx that are showing in mala (but that it then says it is missing files for). I also have one (bakubaku) that shows in mala and works in mala, but in mameuifx doesnt show up in the list of available games (but you can load it if you chose from the all games list). If I audit it it says it is missing bios files. I can't understand what I am missing but it its driving me spare. I know it must be something stupid of my part but is there any reason for this?

ok i have got mala to load some of the games i was having issues with by inserting the 50xx.bin files etc so that part of it is sorted

Game....scraping? In any case, you need to read the files on how Mala and MAME work, respectively.
