Strange Keyboard Problem

I'm using an IPac4 and I noticed an issue with Player 1 Button 2 (or Left-Alt key).   All the other buttons I can press fine, but this key only registers on every other press.  This seems to be a Windows XP issue as it also happens when pressing the Left-Alt key directly (however the keyboard is passing through the IPac).  "Sicky Keys" is turned off.  

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?

Try the ipac on a different computer?  f it happens on a different computer it might be an ipac problem.  If so talk to Andy.

Finally getting back to this after a nice labor day weekend...  
Anyway, the problem doesn't appear to be an IPac problem as it still occurs when I plug the standard keyboard into the computer directly (bypassing the IPac).   The computer is a refurb HP Pavillion with a web/multimedia keyboard.  One thought I just had is that maybe it has something to do with the special driver loaded for the extra buttons on that keyboard.  I'll try removing it (as I'm not using those keys anyway), and see if that helps.

Okay, I finally got back to this and discovered that's it's only a problem in the WinIPAC utility (ver 1.0.16).   It seems to work fine in MAME.  (I really should of tried that before).   Anyway, I'll pass this bug along to Andy

(It only seems to be a problem on that machine, however, as I tried the utility on a different machine [without an IPAC] and it worked fine there, although the response was slower than the others on that key. Weird!)

I was having the same problem but on a lot more buttons.  Like I had to double click to make Mario jump in Donkey Kong.  Anyway, it turned out to be Sticky Keys turned on in XP.
I'm a doofus.
