« on: May 04, 2011, 09:10:49 am »
No longer needed, I'm going to replace the motherboard and use the 128mb AGP card I have kicking around

On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy...

If anyone tried to charge you for a PCI vga card, i'd slap them around a bit. Unfortunately the oldest I have is an AGP card, which im using in my mame cab atm :lol

you say that but I'm struggling like hell  :-[

At this rate I might buy a socket 478 motherboard just to get agp... beware the hidden costs of "free" donated computers :banghead:

Oh well, I can still hope some kind person will come to my aid  :)
What's really annoying is I only really need this for overlays and to help vector graphic performance! - so close and yet so far...
On the other side of the screen, it all looks so easy...

I have a PCI video card here, but I have to warn you that:

a) it only has 4MB of RAM
and
b) I have no idea what drivers you would need. It's a SiS 6326 PCI 4MB card.

Yours if you want it. Just pay shipping.

No problem. It's not like people are banging on the door for it!

Thanks for the offer, I no longer need it though.
Figured I was limiting myself too much, especially considering I already have a decent AGP card sitting doing nothing!
So new motherboard is on it's way...

Sometimes its a better option to bite the bullet and upgrade!
