I was looking for a little help on a Hitachi A68KRQ58X in a 2005 Golden Tee.
Game plays blind, but the monitor does not power up at all, but looks clean without any burn in.
It was bought like this. I was hoping it was a quick fix or if I could replace it with an LCD.
I have a hard time telling if any caps have leaked, initially I thought 3 were bad since there was white on the cap and pcb, but on one of them one of the manufactures stickers is actually on top of the white.

I've tried plugging in 3 different monitors hoping to at least get some signal but the best I get is "out of scan range"

Any help would be appreciated, even if its just a contact name to a good local repair company.

Golden Tee still only puts out arcade resolutions (15/25kzh). I think there are off-the-shelf LCD's that will support 25khz resolution, but I don't know what they are. There is a thread here somewhere where someone did what you did until they found one working.

If your machine is set for 15khz mode (its a dip switch setting), you won't find any LCD that will work except one made specifically for arcade games.

I used one LCD and two CRTs (one being really old), also I did flip the dip switch on the board to display standard res. I was hoping to get lucky.

I'm hoping to get a chance to pull more info off the monitor chassis, honestly I'm having a hard time spotting any info on it.
I'll post up more info as soon as I get it.
