  • I want to build my own arcade controls!
Hi everyone,

It saddens me to say this, but I need to get rid of my arcade collection. I have a fairly decent collection that had more dreams and aspirations than goals. With that said, I'm looking to find a home (or homes) that would be willing to take my humble collection and cherish and enjoy it like I never did. In exchange, I'm looking for a fair and equitable trade in cash.

my question is this: how should I go about getting rid of it all? Ebay? online forums? your advice will be greatly appreciated.

If it helps, here is my collection (to the best of my recollection):

2 arcade cabinets - one standard conversion cabinet (that was an Ikari warriors 3) and 1 original millipede cabinet
I have all the wiring harnesses, etc for when it was Ikari Warriors 3
G020 monitor that had slight burn-in but was in great working condition before I removed it. I also have a complete cap kit package for this, but never installed it.

large assortment of Neo Geo 4 slot equipment - coin slots, 4 slot marquee holder lights, some marquees, bezel, full joystick panel with new joys, buttons, switches, etc., a 4 slot MVS board painted Neo-Geo Red, wiring harnesses, probably more - I had everything for a complete conversion.

15 MVS games all with shock boxes and covers:
Fatal Fury
Art of Fighting 2
Samurai Shodown
King of Fighters 96
King of Fighters 98
King of Fighters 99
King of Fighters 2003
SNK vs Capcom SVC Chaos
Garou Mark of the Wolves
Blazing Star
Shock Troopers 2nd Squad
Baseball Stars
Super Sidekicks 2
Power Spikes 2
Magical Drop 2

plus I have an additional 14 empty or blank shock boxes that were going to round out my collection.

I also have various arcade games:
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
Ikari Warriors 3
NBA Jam tournament edition
Double Dragon
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Tekken Tag Tournament - has one cap that needs to be replaced to have it working

I also have plenty of spare parts, accessories, buttons, and more.

I'm trying to figure the best way to unload this all. Ideally, an interested party would want to take it all, but I am open to seperating it out.

Thanks for your help in advance.

EDIT:
I am located in Auburn, Ga (specifically 30011)
