Hey guys!

A friend gave me his old Neo Geo conversion cab (Dynamo HS-5), and I have a few probs.

1. Games randomly reset. I tried adjusting the 5v with a multimeter but there's 2 PSUs in the cab and I don't know which does what. One of the PSUs appears to be labelled incorrectly on the case, as the AC is not connected, yet it still powers up.
2. The power switch on the top of the machine only turns off the monitor, not the board.

I have hi-res pics of everything here:

I also have a thread about it on neo-geo.com with more details:
http://www.neo-geo.com/forums/showthread.php?t=223901

Also, can anyone ID the PSUs?

The power switch thing isn't crucial, but I would like to figure out the mysterious PSU situation.

It looks like someone disconnected what was probably the original supply (the more typical arcade switcher that has the "AC" lines disconnected) and is effectively using it as a binding post and supplying power from the bigger power supply, but it's tough to tell for sure.  I'd go ahead and trace out all the wiring and figure out wtf the person who hacked all this up did.  You can start by removing the AC input from the big power supply and seeing if everything goes dead to confirm what I spoke of earlier.

That I know for sure cos the power cord goes right into the big one. When you unplug it, it powers down. :)

It's my first cab and I've only had it for 2 days, so it's hard to comprehend such a hackjob.

The big PSU looks nice, but if it's not adjustable, I don't think I can use it (assuming the resetting prob is power-related....I'm reading 4.7v going to the board instead of 5).
