MAME Support Files
« on: April 17, 2011, 04:10:20 am »
Hi,

Just wondering whether there is a set date when Controls.dat and Catver.ini are released after an official update of MAME, or is it just as and when.
Really could do with them to make up my Romlister Database file.

Cheers for the info. Isn't 0.142 the latest release for mame though?

Not easy to find is it?  I think they should sticky the thread with the file and simply update the first post in the thread if needed with any changes.

File is there.  The most recent version is .141 which is off from Mame.  It's always going to be a little behind.

Thanks now that I know the link I found it in the second sticky.  Not intuitive but it is definitely there.  ;D
