Mame Video Problem
« on: April 16, 2011, 03:50:04 pm »
Im using mame 0139 command line with my 21" pcmonitor and pcie grafix card.
Im using maximus and have adjusted the menu screen to fill whole screen as best i can.
However when playing any game in mame it doesnt fill the screen as well as the menu and there is black lines/borders around the game screen. Its not like i can even adjust the screen again as the lines are not equally proportiant (ie, the black border on the left side is double the size of the blackborder on the right).
Resolutions are set to auto in mame.
Any ideas how to fill the screen properly?

Thanks for the reply.
After a bit of investigating i have realised that all my emulators have the same aspect ratio as mame so i dont think its mame related.
My main windows deskop displays fine and maximus displays fine too so im not too sure whats going on.
I think i will try and get the monitor adjusted to display the emulators fine (im using snes, nes, sega, mame, zinc, nulldc, epsxe) and then figure out a way of adjusting maximus and windows.
