Ultrastik or Mag stik?

Hey there, iv read mixed reviews on both.
Currently have a bartop setting up a 2 player with 4 buttons each along with 1 button for coin 1 and 2 player start and 2 shift buttons cause my cabinet has 2 holes for em pre made ( the 2 shift buttons will not be on control panel)
I am mounting this into 5/8 inch thick bottom mount. If need be I can route but atm I dont have my hands on one. if I did route it would be down to 1/2inch I think.
Would I be better off with 2 ultrastiks and I can set the inputs to each joystick.
Or get 2 magstiks a mini pac and the 12 pushbuttons?


I attached a picture of a mockup control panel I made earlier. The top 2 buttons I free hand really quick
This is approx size of actual control panel give or take 1/2inch. Should I move the left hand joystick over more 18 1/2" x 7 5/8"

I think you should get the ultrastick.

I have the mag sticks and I am thinking that it was a mistake..

I think another option is to get two great 8 way sticks ( just figure what is best ) then add one true pacman style 4 way .  Maybe one of the new leaf switch style ones?

But if you are dying to play analog games like star wars then get the ultra sticks
