Screen and marquee glass thickness
« on: April 08, 2011, 04:38:07 pm »
I am going to have a glass shop cut these to size for me and wanted to know if there was any preferable thickness and type of glass. I am just going for clear, not smoked. Thanks,

I use 1/4" safety laminated. In my area it is much cheaper than tempered.  Otherwise I would go tempered.

If you don't have a local shop, check out onedayglass.com.  Great work and fascinating packaging.

Thanks for the tip~! They are close to me so shipping isn't that bad.

What type of edges are you guys using against the cab? Just a straight cut or rounded pencil? The pencil polish doubles the cost.
