WTB: RROD 360 [US - AZ]
« on: April 06, 2011, 02:55:50 pm »
Anyone have a RROD 360 they want to unload?  I'd like to try my hand at fixing one.

Thanks.

Ahh, it's less about saving money and more about wanting to try the fix.   :dunno

Its an easy fix, got a kit off amazon for like 15 bucks.  Probably could have hunted down the parts by themselves for cheaper, but I probably would have saved, max 5 bucks, so it was worth it.

+1 to PBJ though, see if you can get one that has at least has a hd and a power brick.  you can get a xbox to vga cable for like 4 bucks.   Controllers are like 20 bucks at the min though.

It costs $5.00 for the parts at Lowes. I have bought them several times.

Anyhow, the kits are cheap, its the bricks/controllers that are expensive
