Four 2 1/2" Carriage BOLTS (FOUND)
« on: April 05, 2011, 08:42:32 am »
This will probably get lost here, but I need 4 CHROME carriage bolts.  Either 2 1/2" or 3" long.  Will also take 4 shorter ones if you've got 'em.

Those are the worst places.  They have some that are about as big around as my pinky finger with writing on top. :)

If you have one in your area, try Ace Hardware.

I have always had good luck for harder to find items that the big box stores didn't carry.

Ace is by far the best but the one here didn't have any.  Out of an entire aisle of nuts and bolts!  :dizzy:

Six dollars???  I thought 25 cents was pushing it. lol!

BTW, I got what I was looking for online.  The heads were a bit smaller than I wanted but beggars can't be choosers.

stainless steel was about 30 cents i think, but the true chrome stuff was very pricey. glad you found some
