Just wondering if anyone has or is building a tablet arcade system cabinet and all.

But it would be nice to just put the tablet in and charge it while you play.

I tried youtube and found this

Plexi glass monster.  Looks like he is using mame32.  But it doesn't look like you can take the tablet in and out with ease.

and I know you all seen the new icade

let me know what your thoughts and ideas are because i was thinking of building a new video editing computer and match it with a tablet (not sure which one yet but i don't think i will get an ipad)

I always respect everyones opinions on this forum

That's MAME32 all right. But he has a stylus to select games.... Someone needs to clue him in on front ends. Nice machine, though.

I have an old Thinkpad X41 that is a tablet pc.  I wonder if it could be made into something neat like that.  Its only a 1.6ghz centrino though, no dual core or anything fancy.  Runs windows 7 fine though with 2 gigs of ram.

I think I might try to make something like that for my Eee Slate this summer. Should be a fun project. It has an i5, so it should run really well. I could even keep an external harddrive in the little cabinet.
