Mario Bros Widebody?
« on: March 13, 2011, 09:20:58 pm »
Hey,  I stumbled across a mario bros on craigslist and wanted some opinions on wether its a good deal or not.

They are asking $250.

Description is:

"Comes on but rolls I think it needs cleaning and tuned up sale or trade"

If that's the only issue its just a matter of tweaking the vertical hold right?

Looks fine from the pics.

Is that a widebody or a conversion?  And is this whats called a VS system?

Thanks a lot for any advice you have!

That's not the Vs. system. That is the original widebody cabinet and $250 is a good price.

If the game works then some monitor adjustment and perhaps a cap lit would probably be all it needs if you are satisfied with the condition.

I have also seen a monitor "rolling" from the sync being connected to the wrong pin.
