Aimtrack problem
« on: March 13, 2011, 01:13:10 pm »
Edit -

I was having a problem with the mouse getting stuck in the left top corner. Read that was part of the calibration. My new issue is that im having a hard time completing the calibration. When i aim at the mouse and pull the trigger the mouse goes to the center of the screen and then right back to the top left. Im going to play with moving my led bar to make sure thats not the cause.

If you mean, after already calibrating the left corner, it continues to attempt to calibrate in the left corner .. this is usually because of poor alignment with the gun and LED sensor. (At least is was for me).

1) Make sure your LED bar is not upside down.

2) Make sure the Leds are pointing pretty much directly toward the eye of the gun.

After I played with these settings I got mine to work. Obviously you need to update the bios with the newest firmware. Andy has a cool sensor to show how strong a signal you have which will help you to adjust. http://www.ultimarc.com/aimtrak.html

thanks for the reply, i moved my led sensor and stood further back from my screen and now its working great.

How do i disable holding the trigger to go into calibration mode? Certain games like terminator 2 if you hold the trigger to keep shooting it will try to recalibrate.
