I have more fun on my Xboxes.

Arcades today are so lame.
If I had only one wish, it would be for three more wishes.

Nice videos.  I noticed when the tech was talking about multi game arcade units that I could hear the super annoying icade music in the background.

That arcade looks awesome! It has a classic corner with games like Stargate, Donkey Kong, Pac man, Burgertime, Tempest. etc.etc. Those games alone would keep me occupied most of the day. I went to R3play expo in Blackpool last November and the local arcades there just plain blow chunks. Absolute garbage. Not one single classic game anywhere. The nearest game I saw to a "classic" was Daytona USA. Just gun games mainly with more fruit-machines and coin pushers than anything else. Yawnsville.

Sorry to hear that about Blackpool, not been for a long time (about 10 years) but there was plenty of classics tucked away on the Piers, upstairs in some on the larger promenade arcades and a good selection on the many arcades on the Pleasure Beach.

Luckily I have moved from Bolton down to Exeter and now live about 2 miles away from Arcadebarn ;)

Well luckily they are having a R3play2 event this year. We  re just awaiting confirmation of the venue but I think it's 99% certain it's gonna be at the same place again. So this time I will check out the local arcades better. I walked along the promenade front from one end to almost the other. I stopped short of the Pleasure Beach and didn't check any arcades on the piers. Taxi back cost to where I started cost me £13!!!  :o  It was a long walk but not that long!  Next time I will take the Friday off work and have all day in Blackpool instead of just three hours on the Saturday night. The event didn't close on the Saturday till 8:00 pm so I was a bit late for my beer.  ;)
