25/32" T-Molding?
« on: March 10, 2011, 04:19:07 am »
I'm about to order some T-Molding for two control panels which are made out of laminated MDF. (The same material used on counter tops).

With the lamination the thickness is 25/32".

No one has this thickness and I was wondering if I should just get the next larger size which is 13/16" and use an Exacto blade to trim it, or should I get the next smaller size which is 3/4" and make sure I install it flush with the top of the control panels.

Either way the T-Molding available will be 1/32" over or 1/32" under.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

bigger and trim, if you think it needs it (1/32 aint much)

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Bigger and let it over hang 1/64" on both sides, that's practically and RCH. If need be trim the top.

Thanks everyone.

That's what I figured.

Now does anyone know where I can find 13/16" green T-Molding? (I found the blue I need in that size at T-Molding.com).

Thanks.
