Game's dimensions are wrong, edges cut off please help

Hi all fairly new here been tryin to learn as much as I can but some things are just impossible to find. Anyway everything is good MaLa runs fine I even have my custom layout working but when I go to start any game the dimensions are too big and the edges of the game are not visible and there is no options to adjust in the mame options, Im running 0106. Ive tried changing my layout options and stuff in MaLa but always the same result when I boot up a game. How do I remedy this? Any help will be very much appreciated

FIXED! nevermind, I needed to mess with the default MAME settings
