Model2 reload during HOTD gameplay?
« on: March 07, 2011, 08:31:06 am »
I read somewhere that shooting off the screen does not work to reload but that remapping a control could work, although I am not sure what to remap.  Any help would be appreciated.

It isn't possible to remap controls on the light gun games in M2.
The right mouse button reloads in M2.

What guns are you using?

If Aim-Traks, from what I've read (I don't have them),
they were probably referring to mapping a button (or shoot offscreen) to the right mouse button in the Aim-Trak utility.

Shooting off screen works for a little bit in HOTD on M2, but eventally you will hit something off screen and the game will minimize.  From what I understand, this has to do with the fullscreen not being true full screen, but rather a reallly big maximized window.

I have an ACT_Labs CRT gun but I am currently playing around with Model2 using a keyboard and mouse.  I will click the right mouse button to reload ..... thanks

You won't have any issues with the ACT Labs gun.
It's pretty much plug and play with the M2 emulator.

To my knowledge, nobody has succeeded in getting the Player 2 gun to work in M2 though. :-\
(no matter what guns they were using)

I upgraded to Model2 v1.0 and now I get an error stating the "d3dx9_42.dll" was not found.  I am assuming this is a DirectX thing?

I currently have "DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)" installed
